The new model JD55-PR Indoor Cellular Repeater Kit features at its heart a full duplex power amplifier, low-profile discreet indoor antenna, power supply, high gain outdoor antenna, 35ft (10.5M) low-loss coax and mounting brackets.

To maintain safe and specific output signal levels, this advanced repeater also has built-in dip switches that allow you to manually attenuate (fine tune) the uplink or downlink channels individually with color changing LED indicators. These LED's are used as a guide to prevent your installation from reproducing errors due to excessive input signal strengths if a pre-amp is used or from signal oscillation due to the indoor antenna and outdoor antenna being too close to each other, which can have adverse effects on a base station.

A Network Safe / MUTE Feature has been added to this repeater to protect the cellular network. In short, the repeater will stop transmitting if any errors or signal oscillation is detected within 2 sec of detection. It will cycle for 30 sec, then attempt to transmit again. If no adjustment in gain has been made to correct the error within the 30sec MUTE cycle, the system will again shut down after 2 sec. It will run this sequence for a total of 3 times and then shut down completely. Unplugging and powering the unit back up will reset this sequence.

The JD55-PR Indoor Cellular Repeater is sold as a complete kit, one price includes all the peripheral items needed for a complete installation, (Outdoor Antenna included). The standard length of cable supplied with this kit is 35ft of 5D-FB Low Loss Coax. Depending on your specific application we can custom cut any extended lengths you may need to complete your installation. Pre-cut lengths of 45ft and 50ft are also available. I purchased a couple of wireless broadband USB modems for my home PCs which were at my home in a rural mountainous area of NH. I needed to get a better signal than the 1-2 bars I was seeing, as it would not always connect at broadband speed (EVDO) I looked around and noted that a customer on a competitor's website stated to try looking after wireless booster offerings on the JDTeck website since he did not have any luck with equipment from that site. I called up the staff at JDTeck and found them to be wonderfully helpful and user friendly. They had me speak with one of their technical consultants who asked me several questions to try and figure out what product would be best for my needs. He was very easy to talk to and a pleasure on the phone. I originally decided to get a House/Office Booster kit – Rural, after the consultation, and this worked out great. I received all the components in a timely fashion and was able to get 3 - 4 bars consistently on my wireless modems with this setup. After a month using this setup I realized I needed something a little more robust and not tied to connecting the cables directly to the USB wireless modems so I again called up the staff at JDTeck and explained what I needed. They promptly gave me a solution of adding in a repeater using the JD55-PR model and they sent out the correct cables and adapters right away. I was very pleased with the fact that the antenna I had purchased with the previous order was swapped out "at no extra charge" for a better quality outdoor antenna for the repeater setup. This one business gratis will keep me coming back over and over as a customer in the future. This is an extremely competent staff and I enjoyed working with them in all aspects. Prior to the repeater I had poor reception in my entire house. I would get, at best, 1 or 2 bars on my P280 and would get dropped if I moved around while making a call. Not having the ability to get into a field test mode with either my P280 or the 3390 Gold I really can't get into more specific reception values, which I agree is unfortunate. With the repeater now in service I can say that I have 3 to 4 bars ( in the covered area) and have no problems using my cell service ( T-Mobile ). I am now able to use my cell service with out having to step outside and holler "can you hear me now?" That makes it worth every penny to me. I hate having the technology and not being able to use it.
