Microsoft //Case Study

Microsoft announced back in July 2011 its plans to open up stores over the next few years across the USA. Prior to the launch of the first initial batch of locations however, it was noted that indoor cellular coverage was a major problem at several of its locations.
After anonymously purchasing only a cellular repeater and antennas from JDTECK via one of its vendors, we were contacted to troubleshoot the installation which did not perform as desired. At this point, we were still unaware of who the ultimate client was, but with the specifics of the deployment provided, we were able to remotely point out the flaws in the system and the mismatched components used. After these changes were made, the system performed exceptionally well.
The engineer who we were liaising with, prior to the stores being launched then made known his affiliation and noted how impressed he was with our technical support and remote troubleshooting skills. This prompted our brand of repeater being selected to be used in all future store deployments.
To avoid a repeat of the initial install, an internal engineering bulletin, outlining best practice for the deployment of in-building cellular repeaters was created by Microsoft to be used by their installers. JDTECK had the privilege of contributing to the technical content in that document and also having our repeaters listed therein as the recommended models to be used for all future deployments.
